Precise, real-time turn-by-turn navigation for commercial vehicles. Supports vehicle-specific routing, custom map attributes, multi-waypoint guidance, and real-time traffic intelligence.
Define and monitor virtual geographic boundaries to trigger automated workflows, proof-of-delivery confirmations, and real-time asset security alerts across your fleet.
Sub-meter real-time vehicle and driver tracking with configurable alerts, offline buffering, mileage reporting, and native integration with route optimization workflows.
Generate road-network-accurate travel-time and distance polygons to visualize service coverage, plan depot locations, and design driver territories based on real reachability.
No-code interface to inject custom road attributes — closures, speed limits, turn restrictions, plying permissions — directly into every routing and tile calculation without engineering effort.
NextBillion.ai's Map Tiles API delivers fast, customizable, and logistics-optimized tile rendering for teams building fleet dashboards, order tracking interfaces, and dispatch consoles. Unlike consumer mapping APIs that carry unpredictable per-call costs, our tile infrastructure is purpose-built for high-throughput applications — with flexible styling, swappable data sources, and native compatibility with routing, tracking, and geofencing APIs. Get accurate, performant map tiles without the billing surprises.

The team behind the platform building accessible, enterprise-grade location intelligence.

Co-Founder
Ajay Bulusu is a Co-Founder of NextBillion.ai, bringing deep expertise in geospatial technology and large-scale location intelligence systems. His foundational experience at Grab's Geo team — one of Southeast Asia's most advanced mapping and logistics operations — shaped his understanding of the real-world gaps in commercial mapping infrastructure. Ajay co-founded NextBillion.ai in 2020 with a mission to democratize sophisticated location technology, making it more accessible, customizable, and cost-effective for logistics businesses, transportation platforms, and developers building the next generation of geospatial products. Under his leadership, the platform has powered over 10.9 million optimized deliveries and navigated more than 557 million miles for 150+ businesses globally.

Co-Founder
Gaurav Bubna is a Co-Founder of NextBillion.ai and the driving force behind the company's product innovation. With a track record of building successful products from scratch at Grab, Ola, and Morgan Stanley — spanning ride-hailing, food delivery, and logistics — Gaurav brings a rare combination of product intuition and engineering depth to the mapping space. He identified firsthand how expensive, rigid, and generically designed location tools created real operational pain for fast-growing platforms. At NextBillion.ai, he has led the development of an API-first mapping and routing platform that serves enterprise clients including DoorDash, AB InBev, and Geotab, delivering over $11 million in documented cost savings to customers worldwide.

Co-Founder
Shaolin Zheng is a Co-Founder of NextBillion.ai, contributing deep technical expertise in geospatial systems and mapping infrastructure. Like his co-founders, Shaolin's experience at Grab's Geo team gave him direct exposure to the scale and complexity demands of enterprise-grade location technology — and to the limitations of existing commercial mapping solutions for logistics and transportation use cases. He co-built NextBillion.ai's foundational technology architecture with the conviction that location intelligence should be flexible, high-performance, and priced for real operational needs — not the usage patterns of consumer applications. His work underpins the platform's ability to serve 150+ global businesses with low-latency, production-grade mapping, routing, and tracking APIs.
Map tiles are small, pre-rendered image or vector segments of a map divided into a grid at each zoom level. When a user pans or zooms on a map, the client requests only the tiles needed for the visible area. The server returns those tile images — styled and layered — which the client stitches together into a seamless map view. This approach enables fast rendering, efficient bandwidth use, and scalable map delivery at any resolution.
