His career spans leadership roles at some of the world's most demanding on-demand platforms — including Grab, Ola, and Morgan Stanley — where he built products that handled millions of daily transactions across ride-hailing, food delivery, and logistics. Ajay Bulusu is a co-founder of NextBillion.ai and a veteran of enterprise-scale location technology. His foundational work on Grab's Geo team — one of Southeast Asia's most sophisticated mapping and routing infrastructures — gave him direct insight into the limitations of off-the-shelf mapping solutions when applied to real logistics and mobility challenges. Motivated by the gap between what existing tools offered and what high-growth operations actually needed, Ajay co-founded NextBillion.ai in 2020 with a clear mandate: build routing and dispatch technology that is powerful enough for enterprise demands, flexible enough for diverse industries, and priced fairly enough for businesses of all sizes to access. He leads NextBillion.ai's strategic direction and technology vision from Charlotte, North Carolina.
