Route Optimization Software
Automatically generate dispatch-ready, multi-stop routes with 50+ hard and soft constraints—covering vehicle capacity, time windows, driver shifts, and regulatory compliance—in seconds, at any scale.
NextBillion.ai delivers enterprise-grade AI-powered routing and load building software that slashes delivery costs, eliminates on-road surprises, and scales with your fleet. With 50+ optimization constraints, truck-aware routing, and predictable per-vehicle pricing, logistics operators across last-mile delivery, trucking, and field service gain the intelligence to move smarter—without the runaway API bills.

From route optimization and driver dispatch to live tracking and distance matrix computation, our platform covers every logistics workflow.
Automatically generate dispatch-ready, multi-stop routes with 50+ hard and soft constraints—covering vehicle capacity, time windows, driver shifts, and regulatory compliance—in seconds, at any scale.
Calculate real-time travel times, distances, and ETAs across matrices up to 5,000×5,000 origins and destinations in a single API call—without per-call pricing penalties or batching limitations.
Instantly assign drivers to tasks using dynamic parameters including location familiarity, shift timing, order priority, and driver preferences—with real-time reassignment when plans change mid-operation.
Automate the handoff from optimized route planning to on-road execution by pushing dispatch-ready routes directly to driver apps and fleet management systems the moment planning is complete.
Monitor every vehicle in real time with sub-meter location precision, configurable alerts for speeding or route deviation, and offline tracking support for low-connectivity zones.
Pre-segment large volumes of delivery stops and service tasks into geographically coherent clusters before routing—reducing optimization complexity, minimizing dead miles, and balancing driver workloads.
NextBillion.ai's AI-powered routing and load building platform is engineered for logistics operators who can't afford routing blind spots, unpredictable API costs, or optimization engines that buckle under real-world complexity. Whether you're managing last-mile courier fleets, long-haul trucking, NEMT transport, or field service workforces, the platform handles 50+ constraints natively—time windows, vehicle dimensions, HazMat rules, and driver shift limits—while offering per-vehicle pricing that keeps costs predictable even through demand spikes. Trusted by global enterprises including DoorDash, AB InBev, and Gojek, NextBillion.ai has already optimized over 10.9 million deliveries and delivered $11M+ in measurable cost savings to customers worldwide.

Co-Founder
Gaurav Bubna drives product innovation at NextBillion.ai, bringing firsthand experience building industry-defining products across ride-hailing, food delivery, and logistics. He has held key product roles at Grab, Ola, and Morgan Stanley—each time tackling the challenge of making complex systems work reliably at scale. At NextBillion.ai, Gaurav channels that experience into building a routing and mapping platform that gives logistics operators enterprise-grade intelligence without enterprise-level complexity or cost. His philosophy is rooted in the belief that sophisticated location technology should be accessible and genuinely useful to businesses of all sizes, not just the largest tech-enabled enterprises. Gaurav co-founded NextBillion.ai in 2020 alongside Ajay Bulusu and Shaolin Zheng following their shared work on Grab's Geo team, where they first identified the gap between what existing location platforms offered and what logistics operations actually needed.

Co-Founder
Ajay Bulusu is a Co-Founder of NextBillion.ai and a driving force behind the company's mission to make advanced location technology accessible to logistics and transportation businesses worldwide. Ajay's journey into location intelligence began during his time at Grab's Geo team in 2017, where he collaborated with Gaurav Bubna and Shaolin Zheng and witnessed firsthand how powerful—and how critically underserved—geospatial technology was for real-world logistics operations. In 2020, Ajay co-founded NextBillion.ai with the vision of building a more flexible, cost-effective, and operationally relevant alternative to dominant mapping and routing providers. Under his leadership, the company has raised $34.25M in venture capital, served over 150 businesses globally, and in 2025 became part of Velocitor Solutions, marking a pivotal expansion into enterprise telematics and fleet management.

Co-Founder
Shaolin Zheng is a Co-Founder of NextBillion.ai, bringing deep technical and operational expertise to the platform's architecture and global expansion. Like his co-founders, Shaolin's work began at Grab's Geo team in 2017, where the three identified a fundamental gap in the location technology market: existing solutions were expensive, inflexible, and built for generic use cases rather than the nuanced demands of logistics, transportation, and fleet management businesses. In 2020, Shaolin joined Ajay Bulusu and Gaurav Bubna in launching NextBillion.ai to address this gap head-on. The platform now powers routing and mapping for over 150 businesses globally—including DoorDash, AB InBev, and Gojek—and has navigated over 557 million miles, reflecting the scale and reliability that Shaolin and the team have built into the platform from its foundation.
AI-powered routing uses machine learning algorithms and real-time data to automatically generate optimal multi-stop routes that account for dozens of simultaneous constraints—vehicle capacity, time windows, driver hours, truck dimensions, and traffic conditions. Traditional route planning relies on manual sequencing or basic shortest-path logic, which cannot handle the complexity of real-world logistics at scale without significant human intervention and error.
